Prices and Quotes

Yes, we will perform a free on-site inspection before we can provide you a final quote for your reno. Our quotes are valid for 60 days (unless pre-scheduled and agreed upon).

This can vary on a number of different factors. Structural changes, cost of new fixtures/fittings & accessories, plumbing requirement etc. There is no one size fits all as everyone’s bathroom needs are different. We have an unrestricted and open builders license, which means we have the skills and expertise to perform any renovations to your home, but we choose to specialise in bathroom renovations.

Many other providers only have trades licenses for Bathrooms. We are licensed for everything, and that experience ensures you are getting the highest quality builders at a competitive cost.

Pre-planning

First we need to conduct a full inspection of the works and discuss with you your requirements. From there we will need 24-48 hours to provide you a quote and project schedule. Once agreed and the first deposit is paid, our next on site visit will be to take any final measurements and to work together on finalising the accessories and fixtures. Once finalised, we go through our TAPS staged approach to complete your renovation.

Whilst every job differs based on the size and complexity of the project, most standard bathroom renovations take roughly 2-3 weeks to complete. We will provide you with a project schedule that we will commit too for both start and finish dates.

The main thing to prepare for is that any facilities in the renovated room will be rendered unusable. This includes if your bathroom or laundry includes a toilet, shower, bath, basin etc. You will still have water and electricity throughout the premises during the renovation, however both water and electricity will need to be switched off for a small amount of time during the renovation process, usually 1-2 hours maximum. We will advise you in advance when this will be taking place so not to inconvenience anyone.

Yes, we can supply all your fixtures and tile needs. We work with a large range of industry suppliers and also have a list of our own trusted suppliers that offer great discounts for our customers only.

During the renovation

Yes, of course but we have also had clients who have not been home during the renovation process. TAP Bathrooms Brisbane ensure that your privacy and all belongings within your home are respected and that we will only access the areas required to perform our works.

No, once the renovation begins, most of the area will be stripped and demolished rendering it unusable. At various times you may be able to access the facilities but it’s recommended whilst the renovation process is underway to leave the area as left by your TAP Bathrooms Brisbane professional each day until completed.

After the renovation

Yes, we will arrange for a skip bin for the disposal of all rubbish, old fixtures and fittings and this will be included as part of the costs of the renovation and will be removed at the completion of works.

Yes, and we would greatly appreciate it if you would!
